Biography

Dr. Paul T. Francis is an Associate Professor and Consultant at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Cochin, India. Dr. Francis earned his MBBS at Kozhikode Medical College, Kerala and MD in Community Medicine at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. His research interests include non communicable disease prevention and control and capacity building. His vision for public health in India is to devise workable solutions to prevent and control the growing problem of NCDs. Dr. Francis hopes to gain in-depth knowledge of NCD epidemiology and use it to formulate more specific prevention and control measures.
