Biography

Dr. Binod Kumar Patro is an Associate Professor at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar, India. Dr. Patro earned his MBBS degree at MKCG Medical College, Berhampur and MD in Community Medicine at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. His research interests include NCD prevention and control using evidence based low-cost interventions and the integration of primary health care and NCD prevention and control. His vision for public health in India is providing quality health care  for every citizen. Dr. Patro hopes to learn how to leverage public health leadership skills in NCD prevention and control.
