Biography

Dr. Srivastava is a Research Associate at the Public Health Foundation of India. Dr. Srivastava earned her Bachelors of Dental Surgery at the RML Awadh University and Masters of Public Health in Orientation International Health at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Antwerp. Her research interests include social protection for health, health equity, and the economics of aging and non-communicable diseases. Her vision for public health in India is one in which health needs are addressed through a more equitable, efficient and effective health system. Dr. Srivastava hopes to develop a systems perspective to better understand non-communicable diseases in the Indian and global context.
