Biography

Holly W. Korschun is Director of Research Communications for Emory University's Woodruff Health Sciences Center. In this position she is responsible for directing media relations and internal and external communications for research programs within Health Sciences Communications.

During a career in communications at Emory that began in 1980, Korschun has served as associate director of University publications, writer/editor for the Winship Cancer Institute and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and writer/editor for the schools of medicine, public health, and nursing.

Prior to her work at Emory, Korschun was editor of publications at Tufts University. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Journalism. She is a member of the National Association of Science Writers and is a Woodruff Leadership Academy Fellow in Emory's Woodruff Health Sciences Center.
